Sun and Tree
As mentioned before the Sun helps plants to perform photosynthesis to create glucose. this helps them and other organisms in an ecosystem survive. So by removing the sun the plants would die leading to the death of all other organisms in the environment, because plants produce glucose as energy and all other living things eat plants in order to get glucose and energy. Plants also produce oxygen that other organisms need to live. |
Goose and Water
As seen in the above picture water greatly affects geese. Not only quenching thirst and providing water for chemical reactions in the goose's body, This body of water, in this case the lake, provides food for the goose. The weeds and other plants that live at the bottom of the lake are food for the goose. |
Dandelion and Soil
As stated before in the abiotic page, soil provides key nutrients and water to help plants like dandelions to survive. By taking out the soil there would be no good place for a plant such as a dandelion to grow and would not be able to receive the water and nutrients it needs eventually leading to the downfall of all plants and animals, because the plants produce glucose and energy that they and other organisms need. Plants also produce oxygen that other organisms need to live. |
